Pageant Guidelines Contestants must register by completing the Registration Forms and submitting $50 entry fee to your District Sunday School Representative. REGISTRATION DEADLINE APRIL 16, 2011. Scoring Component Scores will be given in the following categories. A short description is listed below. Introduction Talent Church Wear Formal Wear Financial Excellence Question & Answer Introduction Contestant is given the opportunity to set the tone of thier overall presentation by sharing a 2-minute introduction with the audience. Talent This segment focuses on the contestants choice of talent demonstration. Points are awarded based on creativity, accuracy, ability to capture audience, all within 3-5 minute timeline. Church Wear Contestant gives us a look at thier best interpretation of church appearel - Sunday's Best! Formal Wear Formal or semi-formal attire during this segment. Financial Excellence Contestant and parents utilize methods of raising the most money (OVER $100) for the Pageants expense. The $50 entry fee is non-refundable and is due by May 1st. All remaining monies raised must be submitted and received no later than June 10th. Question & Answer Contestant is given an opportunity to express his or her viewpoint on a certain topic. There should be some spiritual aspect relative to the question. However, though there is no right or wrong answer, the response should be thoughtful.
